When our long-serving joiner became ill and retired, we spent some years with a series of tradesmen, none of the cowboys but in our view not as good as the one we'd lost. Then in August 2010 we came across Martin Bullock of Home Solutions Joinery. He has now done a range of domestic jobs across our small portfolio of residential properties from fitting hand rails to building a quite large second bath/ shower room , which also involved several related joinery changes to an adjacent room and landing, and redeeming a worn and badly distorted pair of heavy oak gates. He has always been prompt in responding to calls, ready but not pushy with suggestions, provided and worked to estimates, visited premises independently and worked without supervision. Skilled and experienced tradesmen quite properly do not work for nothing, but we have always found his charges to be fair. We would recommend him without hesitation to other landlords and to personal friends.
Martin has fitted my kitchen and has done an excellent job paying special care to details which makes it of the highest quality. I am extremely pleased with the quality and his professionalism and would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a beautiful result for their kitchen.
Employed Martin to hang 4 very heavy internal doors in an old Victorian property. Suffice to say the doors and frames needed significant adjustment to hang correctly.
Not only do the doors fit like a glove but I also got a free education in the history of building from 1837 to 2011.
Punctual, efficient, polite and an excellent taste in music too.
